she began her journalistic career in the arts beat and has since covered politics, science, culture, and technology as well as work in diplomatic speechwriting on northeast asia, alliance management, and trade. she has served as an editor on a variety of projects including ngo reports (EU externalities, sustainability, foreign policy, migration, international cooperation, arms trade) and history textbooks (korean war, economic development of south korea, south korea-us alliance).
